I've just come home from a three-day break at my father-in-laws and I tell ya, everyone should have one more often!
Before I left I was suffering the worst case of writers block. Everything was firmly stuck on pause - I just couldn't get the creative juices flowing. Much to my annoyance. You all know by now it's my pet hate.
However, when the England v Ukraine football kicked off at 7.45 I decided to go upstairs on the computer and see if I could write - and boy could I! I just looked at the time and it's 9.20, so I've been writing a good hour and a half non-stop! I'm just a little happy because it means I'm another step closer to publishing next month.
The fourth and final segment is currently titled 'Birthright'. But it's a very tentative title. I have to admit, this whole book has me stumped. I think it's because I need to tie up the loose ends from everything in the previous books as well as new scenes, and slowly but surely I'm getting there.
I have two epilogues written, one very final epilogue and one not so final one in case I decide to continue the story beyond High School and Henry Luther.
Currently, the latter is looking very likely. I can't seem to wrap my head around leaving Lily's world just yet!
Anyway, I was at a super exciting part in the book when I took my break to gather my words, but now I'm sat back at the computer with Michael Buble telling me I'm his everything, my word document is screaming out at me to carry on - so carry on I shall!
Although my title of 'Birthright' is the best I can come up with, I will be attempting a draft of the synopsis this week which I'll be posting, and I'm very open to ideas for the titles. If I decide to use one from my readers, you'll get a special mention in the dedications part of both the fourth book and the full novel.
Now (because I'm just a tease) I'm going to get back to writing... About a dead werewolf.
